Meet Candace
Candace Cooper is a partner at Daoust Vukovich LLP and leads the firm’s Commercial Real Estate group, advising developers, investors, landlords, borrowers, and lenders on complex commercial real estate transactions.
Her practice focuses on sophisticated transactions involving retail, office, industrial and mixed-use properties. Candace also provides strategic guidance on title issues, development matters and complex land-related agreements, as well as expropriation matters, advising property owners on the legal and practical issues arising when land is acquired by public authorities.
Candace frequently speaks at leading legal and industry conferences, including programs of the Law Society of Ontario such as The Six-Minute Real Estate Lawyer, the Ontario Bar Association, the Land and Development Conference, the Canadian Apartment Investment Conference and the International Council of Shopping Centers Law Conference. Since 2023, she serves as an adjunct instructor in Real Estate Law for REDI Canada in partnership with the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
